Tempo Rubato

Watch the 9 minute proof-of-concept short film for TEMPO RUBATO, a musical sci-fi love story where a couple considers using time travel to fix their strained relationship but begin to lose track of what is past, present and the future they are fighting for.

Filmed in 1 day, 5 person crew, under $5k. Produced in partnership with The Barn.

The feature film - similar to the short - is designed for indie-film production: minimal locations, 3 characters, and a high concept. No dance numbers, no glitter. This story lives in the music, pulling us into the honest emotion of the characters with an elevated connection through songs.
